Moore About Us

Melissa Moore

Now located in the heart of horse country in Texas Melissa spends her time with husband Jarrod and two sons Wyatt and Weston, all while pursuing her passion for horses.  She has always had a passion for all things horses from a young age; she started competing with 4-H, then moved on to rodeo queen contests including Mother Lode Round-Up and La Grange Rodeo.  She was the 2007 Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo Queen and greatly enjoyed representing their rodeo and helping them with future royalty and contests. She will always hold a spot in her heart for them.  She loves rodeo and the western way of life, and continues to help rodeo queens in their endeavors in rodeo.

In 2007 Melissa found her calling with horses and discovered reining.  She bought her first reining horse and from there never looked back.  She now not only shows her horses, but owns and breeds reining horses in her new homestead in Sadler, TX.  Her and her horses hold many qualifiers, titles, and championships from Reining by the Bay reserve champions, to AQHA Level 1 titles, to AQHA World Championship qualifiers.  In 2016 she recently added ranch riding to her repertoire and received a Top Ten finish at the Central AQHA Level 1 Championships in Oklahoma City aboard Dun It In Ten and a Top Five Buckle at the summer Gold N Grand with Rooster. She continues to show and stay in touch with trending styles in many disciplines, all while operating her business.
